I shared this with the kids this morning. It was sent to us by a sweet friend. It reminded us that the safest, warmest place to be is in the arms of Jesus.
Readers, you have to go over to Linny's blog at A Place Called Simplicity to read about just one of the results of our prayer and fasting last week. I am not telling a thing! Bad, I know. Hee hee hee! Go read it here: 15 Months and God Moves the Mountains.
And, I ask that you continue to pray for Shepherd's Field Children's Village. As of last evening, about $47,000 of the $70,000 has been raised. Unfortunately, they will have to pull money from their building and surgery funds to cover the difference. Then, they will have to reimburse those accounts with interest because they are designated funds. Pray also for the hearts of those receiving the money. They could turn around and donate some of it back...only God could do that.
If you want to know more about this request, go to my prior post called An Answer and A Need. The part relevant to SFCV is toward the bottom of the post.
Our lil' one seems to be doing great at SFCV. We learned recently through our agency that she received our photo album and the birthday card package we sent over the summer. I hope her ayis read the photo book to her. It reads like a little story and tells her that we miss her and are coming soon. Looking at our pictures will also help her to recognize us on Gotcha Day.
We miss you today, lil' one!! We look forward to all these days of waiting -- days of looking at your pictures, days of your siblings wondering when we'll finally get to see you in Ch*na, days of imagining what it will be like to have you here -- all behind us. We are so excited for you to come home! Until then, we know you are safe in His arms!
Make it soon, Jesus, make it soon!!
