Room to Grow: Memorial Box Mondays

   I have read about Memorial Box Mondays from another blog that I read occasionally. It's a day to remember and share something that God has done in our lives. I also can put something in a keepsake box to help me to remember that blessing. And, if it is part of our adoption journey, then I will share it someday with our little one. It will be part of her story. God has surely shown himself strong on her behalf. Sometimes, I am overwhelmed as I recount all the ways God already has led us along the path to her.
   I shared a while ago about our adoption savings seed. Well, that seed has begun to bloom. A few months ago, DH's company was purchased by another, larger business. And, with the change in ownership came a change in benefits. With that change, came ADOPTION benefits.
   Yes, you read it right.
   Whoever heard of adoption benefits? We had researched them a little. We hoped for them. We had prayed and talked about requesting these benefits from his employer. We were waiting on the right timing.  God had a plan, though, that I couldn't have imagined. Isn't that just like Him?
   Wonder what else He'll do that we couldn't have imagined.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
