MARCHING ORDERS

We had our final meeting with Holt today. The representative gave us instructions for the train trip to Hong Kong. We are SO looking forward to coming home. But, not really looking forward to hours and hours on a plane with a toddler. Guess adoption has all sorts of labor pains.

Speaking of labor, little S. is doing much better today. We have worked through some cries before they went radioactive.

SO.MUCH.BETTER.

H. & I. took another walk in search of a good place for dinner. They found a restaurant that serves worms and fish stomach. Wanna join us? Yeah, me either! Uck! Up till this point, I. has persisted he wanted to have fish in China. He loves fish. After that trip, he has decided to wait until we are back home.

D. & A. are doing fine, too. They have tried a few new foods. We have carried our own jar of peanut butter to breakfast each morning. Ha Ha! We've been the envy of American families in Guangzhou -- though we have willingly offered to share. We came well stocked with 2 jars of Jif. Forget American Express, it's Jif you don't want to leave home without.

Ok, time to start packing for home. We again covet your prayers as we now finish the traveling part of this journey and then begin the new journey for S. as she becomes suddenly immersed in a new language and culture.
