Lazy Days of Summer?

For years I have asked about those old-fashioned, lazy days of summer where you have time to sit a while and sip icy cold lemonade with friends. Around here, those are days long gone. This summer we have been busy, a good busy, but busy nonetheless. I could drabble on and on about it but pictures are much more fun! We celebrated birthdays, took a few family trips, and bought some new, slick wheels!

H. loved the cake the kids made for him. Can you guess which it was?

A. celebrated turning 9 with a special sleepover and her first American Girl doll. We also had our own version of our American Girl baby doll.

Next, came IJ's 11th birthday. Wii love him. Wii think he's pretty amazing and Wii think he's knows that.

Then, D. turned 13. We celebrated this milestone while at our favorite campground. We'll celebrate some more later this fall with a little paintball fun.
